The bonus of home cooked food on site, low staff turnover and a great attitude to additional needs meant it was a no brainer to send our second child, would highly recommend."

"Having been at the nursery almost every day for the past 5 years with my two children, Upper Knapp Farm has been a huge part of our family life. The staff are experienced, kind & supportive and the children leave prepared and ready for primary school having had an amazing start from the nursery team. "Our little one joined Upper Knapp at 10 months old and we’ve been amazed at his progress and development ever since. Now just over 1, he’s more confident, more vocal and communicative and also more independent. He loves being at nursery, so much so that he puts his arms out for his key worker to go back inside when he’s being collected! All of the staff are informative, kind, caring and responsive.

Nothing ever seems to be ‘too much’ for them (even when I would phone every lunch time in the early days!). Although he adores every staff member, he does have a lovely bond with his ‘key worker’, which is both reassuring for us as parents and also a welcoming comfort. We love receiving updates of him at nursery and know that as well as receiving developmental support; he also gets a supportive cuddle whenever he needs one! We couldn’t recommend the nursery enough."

"The Upper Knapp team are incredible at every stage. They have been so supportive to us as a family during these key formative years, offering guidance and support, and helping our children grow curious, confident and polite. 

Our children literally run into nursery every morning with excitement of the day ahead, and then out at the end of the day to tell us all about it. The Willow Garden is a particular favourite, along with the brilliant menu of food they are served (which they are also confidently supporting a food allergy for our youngest). 

Our children have made friends and learnt respect for others, whilst having fun. I can't recommend Upper Knapp highly enough to anyone looking for a great nursery."
